Since I chopped off my long locks a couple weeks ago, my goals have changed with my hairstyle. I went from hair that needed to be smoothed and hydrated (extensions, anyone?), to a style that now needs big volume and lots of texture.
If I tried to use the same products for both styles, I would have lackluster results. Because products do make a big difference people... there is just no getting around it!
I picked up some Toni & Guy products while at Target (because, score! they are all on Cartwheel thru 10/31) and I opted for the volumizing line. Having never used them before I wasn't so sure what I would think, but turns out they are goodies. Plus they have some really cute packaging right now, designed by famed shoe designer Sophia Webster.
The Shampoo & Conditioner for Fine Hair are totally lightweight and airy, perfect for shorter/finer hair that needs a lift. Still hydrating, but not heavy or greasy at all. Ideal for my fine-haired friends!
My favorite item I came away with is the Volume Plumping Whip. [which makes me wanna Whip, Ne Ne every time I use it... but I digress]
This product rocks! Have you tried it before? Its a whipped styling cream that goes on through the roots prior to blowdrying. The whip is lightweight, but also has some good hold to it. I love the texture and lift it gives to my roots.
Now is a good time to stock up on Toni & Guy while they are all on sale thru 10/31 at Target! Do you have any T&G products that I should try? Let me know in the comments below, xo
