This season for my cut and color, I wanted to warm up and lighten up! Bringing copper into the color was my first thought, but I also wanted to bring out some true blonde through the ends as well. Next a shortened up my extensions for a full thick look but, one that would be a little cooler to wear, unlike the longer extensions I had been wearing through winter. I also shortened my fringe pieces just slightly so that I can wear them across the forehead in a side sweep, or split down the middle for a curtain style bang.
Take a look at the process in the video below to achieve these Face-Framing Copper Highlights, and let me know if you have plans to change up your hair now that the weather is heating up!
Video Mentioned: Winter Reveal // Sombre & Tape-In Extensions
Tools Used:
- Sam Villa Blowdryer (Use code: '20FORUT' to save 20%)
- GHD Flat Iron
- Detachable Handle Round Brushes
- Tape-In Hair Extensions [The brand I use is only available to stylists, so I have not personally tried the tape-in hair extensions linked above, although they have good reviews and look great to me.]
Cheers!
