Howdy Snoopers! Happy Monday- can you believe how fast the month has gone by?!
With every changing season I love to switch up my locks, and bring you along for the ride while I do it. Fall 2014 is the season for sleek and blunt-edged haircuts, and celebrities like Halle Berry and Whitney Port have both opted for blunt LOB haircuts too.
Take a look at the video below to see how I took my hair from Summer to Fall, and let me know in the comments below if you have any plans to switch up your hair this season as well.

Hi Megan, do you think I can use your coloring technique for color melting two colors - light brown to medium blond?
ReplyDeleteThanks
Yes you can, when doing it at home though- it's best that the two colors are not too drastic from one to the next so that splotches don't show. (only about 2 levels of difference between the darkest and lightest shade)
DeleteYou can also tease the roots prior to applying the color to help blur the line between the two colors- once the teasing is combed out the lines will be at different heights, and that will help it to blend in the transition zone.
One final tip- don't let the color on the strand be divided into a 50/50 ratio... it's much more pleasing to the eye if either the lighter color is 2/3 of the overall strand, and only 1/3 is darker. Or vice versa... If it is half and half- it looks like an 'at-home' dye job more easily. good luck!
Thanks a lot for the tips, Megan. Is very helpful and kind of you :)
