It's usually about this time of year when the luster of the Holidays has worn off, and you start to feel the winter blues. When the season turns from cold to frigid, and the sun only makes an appearance every 10 days or so, it's easy to feel a little blah.
Now, more than ever is the time I find myself needing to pile on layers of makeup to put some color back in my skin and to get any sort of healthy glow. I love wearing full-face makeup for a great party or night out... but wearing a full face of makeup everyday?!? Who has the time?
I turn to sunless tanning in the winter months to help me get out of my faded-summer-skin blues, and to help lessen the need for piles of makeup. Lately I have been loving Million Dollar Tan products because they smell amazing (not chemical-y) and they have great color payoff, plus the products are organic.

For my arms and legs I use the Spray formula because I love the quick application, and the natural looking results that a spray gives. I apply the spray directly to the palm of my tanning mitt and swipe the formula on following the application rules in the image below. After I have applied the spray and thoroughly rubbed it in, I like to go back over each area with a lightweight body lotion to slightly dilute the color and to be sure it is evenly distributed. This is especially important if you have dry skin in areas that could darken too much because of extra absorption of the spray, usually on the knees, elbows and feet.
After the tan develops, I have an instant Spring in my step- and feel much better about the dreary weather outside. My makeup looks better and I can wear less of it, which is always a bonus!
Be sure and check out all the Million Dollar Tan products- I think you'll love them! Thanks for stopping by today, and Happy New Year!
