It's time to get crafty...but don't freak out! This is a no-sew, easy as pie kinda craft that anyone can do. Lately I have been crazy about spikes, but I couldn't find a spiked headband anywhere I looked. So I decided to make my own and invite my fabulous readers to join in on the fun. I promise this headband will be a show stopper- I get lots of looks when I wear mine (I secretly love a double-take reaction from passer-bys, don't you? :) So set aside about 15 minutes and you can rock this look too.

Here is your lineup of supplies needed, as well as a marking pen or pencil in a contrasting color. Headband- Claire's Spikes- Studs & Spikes (Size 13 or smaller recommended) When picking your headband, you'll want to pick a firm or ridged fabric, so that it can withstand the weight of the spikes. For extra support you could also use iron-on interfacing prior to studding. A Tight fitting elastic band or a wrap-tie band will work best with the added weight of the spikes. |

Next, use your scissors to punch a small hole through each of your marks. Be careful not to pierce a hole too large- you want the screw of the spike to be held firmly in place by the fabric. |

Take the screw portion and place it through the hole coming up from the underside of the fabric as shown. |

Using craft or fabric glue, coat the backside of the felt as shown. Place the backing onto the headband and press together for a firm seal. |
